The deciduous forest in this region makes Ranthambore an ideal home for the Tigers.
Ranthambore National Park is also part of the “Project Tiger” reserve in India, and hence is a well looked after Tiger reserve.

How to Travel or get to Ranthambore National Park

Ranthambore National park is located near Sawai Madhopur in Rajasthan.
Its aproximately 100km from Kota Rajasthan, which is the nearest Airport to the place.
Indian Railways does link most of the major cities to Sawai Madhopur.

Best time to visit Ranthambore National park

The park is open to tourists during October-June.
Due to the monsoon season, the park remains closed from 01st July to 30th September.

Kind of food to expect at Ranthambore
