Dehradun, also know as the Doon Valley

The capital of Uttarakhand quite deserves this honour for the sheer peace and tranquility that it offers all its visitors.

It is no wonder then that boarding schools and the pen of authors like Ruskin Bond have flourished here, in the benevolent lap of Mother Nature.
Green valleys, white mountain peaks and colorful birds-Dehradun is a palette of colors.
A similar diversity can be observed in the locals of Dehradun.
It has some beautiful sights and is easily accessible from all parts of the state, making it possible for visitors to visit nearby places of interest in a radius of 3 km from Dehradun.
