Devprayag, part of the Chardham Yatra Itinerary

Considered as holy as the River Ganga itself, Devprayag in Uttarakhand marks the confluence of the Alaknanda and Bhaghirathi rivers, the two tributaries of the Ganga.
In fact, the river is called Ganga only from Devprayag onwards.
Located close to Rishikesh and Haridwar, pilgrims could not have asked for a holier site to worship. There are several beautiful temples dedicated to different deities around Devprayag.
Different corners of Devprayag are associated with various mythological figures, giving the town an aura of intrigue.

Bhimtal Travel Information

Bhimtal, a better option than Nainital if you looking for a secluded and serene Holiday Experience

Bhimtal has generally always been overshadowed by its more famous neighbor Nainital.
Bhimtal, however, is no less beautiful, especially its piece de resistance-the Bhimtal Lake which is even bigger than the Naini Lake.

Bhimtal is visited during a visit to Nainital or nearby Naukachiatal.
The 17th century Bhimeshwar Temple Complex is the next biggest attraction here.
